In the letter, FWICE agrees Diljit is a fantastic performer but the fact that he agreed to perform for a Pakistani national “will set a wrong precedent in the view of the current alarming situation between the two countries.”

This is not the first time, something of this sort is happening. A few days ago, singer Mika faced the heat from FWICE for performing at a Pakistani wedding! The singer was banned but later the ban was lifted after the singer apologised!

When we got exclusively in touch with Mr Ashoke Pandit, Chief Advisor FWICE and he said, "It is a very serious matter and we are going to take things very seriously. We are trying to make him understand, we want him to stand with the country. It is very important to stand by the country. It is not that you don't want to. People take certain things very lightly. They feel no one will get to know that he is a Pakistani. Through our sources, we got to know he is a Pakistani which is why we are informing you. Later you shouldn't come to us when we will issue a non-cooperation petition against you and tell us I wasn't informed or no one told me I could not be part of the show.

The chief advisor further said, "We are giving you a week's time, you cancel the invitation yourself and that is why we have written to the ministry also. He further revealed, "Diljit show is on the 21st in Houston and on the 22nd PM Narendra Modi will also be addressing the people there, so we are suspecting some kind of mischief as well. Being a Pakistani he can play any kind of mischief. Even if it is not that, there are so many Indians in America, you could have done a show with them. Why choose a Pakistani?

He further went on to say, "The Pakistani performers are standing by their country and our performers keep performing with them. They are still abusing our country and these people have no shame."
