    Drugs Probe: Deepika Padukone's Manager Karishma Prakash Summoned By The NCB Again, Confirms The Agency

    Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash has been on the NCB’s radar for quite a while now. She was earlier issued a summon by the agency for procurement and possession of illegal narcotics substances. Reportedly, The Narcotics Control Bureau has once again summoned Prakash in connection with the drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Now Karishma has been asked to appear before the NCB on Tuesday, November 10

     Earlier, on November 4, Karishma Prakash appeared before the agency and was then accompanied by her lawyer. She was interrogated with several questions by the NCB. According to the Sources, she was asked if she was in touch with any drug peddler or consumed any illegal narcotic substances.

    On October 27, NCB officials conducted a raid at Karishma's residence in Versova after the information provided by a drug peddler that was arrested in the case The officials found 1.7 grams of Hashish and three bottles of CBD oil from her residence. Amidst the ongoing controversy, Karishma Prakash who was an employee of the KWAN talent management agency gave in her resignation. She was the junior manager of Deepika Padukone and a few other actors.

    Recently, the company issued an official statement saying, “Karishma Prakash tendered her resignation on 21st of October with immediate effect and it was accepted. She now has nothing to do with KWAN or with any of the artists that the agency represents including Deepika Padukone. The ongoing investigations are on Karishma Prakash as an individual. We would request media houses and reporters to incorporate this fact while reporting on this issue.

    Meanwhile, on Sunday the NCB conducted a raid at film producer Firoz Nadiadwala's house and arrested his wife Shabana Saeed. Reportedly, Shabana was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after 10 grams of ganja was allegedly recovered from her residence in Juhu.
