Earlier Obama, Now Trump Hails Shah Rukh Khan And Kajol’s Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge

Well, Donald Trump is in India and this is his first official visit to our country. All and sundry were eagerly waiting for his visit. PM Narendra Modi himself received him at the Ahmedabad airport. And what’s more, the arrival garnered a lot of attention. They then made their way to the newly-built Motera cricket stadium in Ahmedabad and during his speech, Trump mentioned his thoughts on the Indian film industry. While addressing a live audience in the city he spoke about Bollywood films and said,  “Bollywood is a thriving industry & the world appreciates Indian films.” He specifically mentioned cult Bollywood films such as Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge) and '70s superhit film Sholay.” He further stated, “All over the planet people take great joy in watching Bollywood films, romance and drama bhangra, and classic films like DDLJ and Sholay.”
