Elvis Presley’s Only Grandson Benjamin Keough Dies By Suicide At 27

Elvis Presley’s only grandson Benjamin Keough passed away at the young age of 27 on Sunday. His mother Lisa Marie Presley’s manager confirmed the news to AFP. The local media reported the death to be 'apparent suicide'.

Sources told TMZ, Benjamin Keough was found in Calabasas near Los Angeles from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Manager Roger Widynowski did not share any details about Benjamin’s death. He said Lisa Marie Presley who was the only child to Elvis Presley from his marriage with Priscilla Presley was “heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated".

Widynowski further went on to state, "She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Keough was not known to be very media-friendly and neither does he have many photos of himself in the media but from whatever pictures are available of him, the resemblance to his grandfather is evident.

Keough’s mother Lisa had once stated that the resemblance of her son to Elvis is ‘just uncanny’.
