Esha Gupta Gets Trolled For Wishing Fans Happy Republic Day Instead Of Independence Day, Reveals Her Account Was Hacked

Bollywood celebrities are busy wishing fans on the occasion of Independence Day. The day however took a rather awkward turn for actress Esha Gupta when a tweet from her account wished fans Happy Republic Day instead of Independence Day. The post read, "Gantantra diwas hardik shubhkamnae". Needless to say that the actress was mercilessly trolled for her mistake and she soon took the post down.

That’s not all, Esha even claimed that her account was hacked and asked fans to ignore tweets from her account.

A series of trolls however had a gala time sharing memes in their replies. A user said, 'Republic or Independence day me antar nhi pata lekin madam apki aankhein dekh k bta dengi ki aap dekh rhe hai ya aankho se rape kar rhe hai.' Trolls even dragged Alia Bhatt into the memes taking a jibe on the matter.

The actress later confirmed that her account has been respotred and laughed out at troller s for reminding her, an army officer's daughter, that it's Independence Day.
