Exclusive: Award Functions Come And Go, Says Monali Thakur, People Forget About Them

Many Bollywood celebrities have spoken against award functions. Actors like Kangana Ranaut, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn have stopped attending any award shows for reasons best known to them. National Award-Winning singer Monali Thakur too doesn’t have much liking for the award functions.

In an exclusive conversation with us, the singer who is coming up with her own single Dil Ka Fitoor says she doesn’t make much of these awards and that they come and go. “It is very flattering whenever you get an award, be it the smallest or the biggest, it is always very flattering when an artist wins an award. Because they are acknowledging you and applauding you for what work you have done”
