EXCLUSIVE: This Is Why Balika Vadhu Actor Shashank Vyas Said 'NO' To Bigg Boss 13

Bigg Boss is a very big reality TV show in India. There are so many from the TV and the film industry who think that being a part of the notorious glasshouse will be a new lease of life to their dwindling career. Many try to spread rumours about their being apart of the show but the TV actor who rose to fame with his Balika Vadhu stint on Colors Shashank Vyas is sure that he doesn’t want to be part of the reality TV show anytime soon.

We at Desimartini.com got to know that Shashank was offered the show but he refused point-blank. That’s when we got in touch with the actor exclusively to understand his viewpoint.

Shashank thinks that it is not just money that he wants. Quipped he, “The thing is I don’t want to play safe. Earning money is not my agenda. If that was my only agenda, I wouldn’t have just chosen acting. There are numerous ways of earning money. I don’t want to be part of Bigg Boss. When I left my hometown and came down to Bombay, it was the biggest decision I took. It was a very crucial situation at that time and I didn’t think twice. I wanted to be an actor. It is just the same now. I am ready to do a film or a series which just has five or six scenes with me in them. If I like some content, I am even willing to do it for free.”

The actor is pretty clear in his mind as to why he always desired to be an actor. Says he, “I want to work at a place where I can grow and I also should be scared. Because that actually brings out the real inner you. You cannot afford to get accustomed to things. I came to Mumbai only for earning money. But I developed the passion over time.”

Speaking about refusing Bigg Boss he revealed, “They had called me, but as far being part of Bigg Boss is concerned, I never dreamt of jumping from one tree to the other, I had never dreamt of making a vote appeal or staying in a confined space for a period of three months. We have to stick to our dreams and therefore we have to let go off of a lot of things. We have to say NO! If you say No, life moves ahead. They called me about two months ago. They insisted and they wanted to do the show, even when they knew I would refuse. The fact of the matter is that the show won’t go anywhere. It was there yesterday and will be there tomorrow as well.

Well, we completely get what Shashank has in his mind and it surely is commendable. For more such scoops from the filmdom keep a close tab on Desimartini.com
