But according to a close source from the Balaji Telefilms, we got to know something that surprised us. Yes, the source informed, “Ronit Roy was keen to reprise his role in the serial but when he got in touch with Ekta, she did not budge because she was adamant about not taking anyone who had been part of the previous version of KZK!”

We had to get to the crux of the matter and that is why we decided to get in touch with the original Mr Bajaj – Ronit Roy. The actor refused point blank though. Quipped he, “I have played Bajaj and I was never keen to play Bajaj again and nor was I approached for it.”

Well, one thing is for sure this character happens to be the fulcrum of the entire show and till now no one has been zeroed in for the role. Whoever is being approached for the role has some issues or the other.

Now that Karan Singh Grover too has been rejected, the grapevine has it that TV actor Harshad Chopda has now been approached for the role and yet nothing has been finalised. With so much going on, don’t you think it would be much easier and safer for the production house to consider Ronit for the role?

What do you guys have to say about it?
