Extraction 2 Is In The Works, Joe Russo Confirms ‘We Are In The Formative Stage’ Of Scripting

The Chris Hemsworth starrer Extraction has been a huge success on Netflix. The film was directed by Sam Hargrave. And now, there are reports of the sequel of the same film is also in its initial phase. And once again The Avengers Endgame co-director Joe Russo, the producer of Extraction, will once again write the script!

Deadline reported, Joe confirmed that he had already been closed for writing the sequel of the Netflix original. He has been quoted as saying, “The deal is closed for me to write Extraction 2 and we are in the formative stages of what the story can be,”

Joe Russo told Deadline. “We’re not committing yet to whether that story goes forward, or backward in time. We left a big loose ending that leaves question marks for the audience.”
