Here is a recent conversation with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient on his journey so far:

Why do you do celeb calender shoots only?

I think that's not true (smiles), my calendar has celebs as well as upcoming talent including people who are not connected to the fashion Industry. At same time I also feel that audiences like to watch more celebrities, hence it's completely based on demand.

What's your ideas behind including 'plus size' category in the calendar?

Well I feel that each one of us need to be comfortable the way we are, there is no body type that makes you beautiful, all of us are good looking, and we must be confident about ourselves, our confidence and belief in our own-selves is attractive and not having a hourglass figure.

The best part of your profession?

I make people smile, I bring out the best in them, I make them feel good and I create memories that last forever.

    Turning point in your career?

It's actually a journey so there isn't any one point turning point, I make efforts everyday to reach a place, I still have a long way to go.

    Any tips for aspiring photographers?

Just follow your heart and feel every picture you take from within. It's because I believe that not just the eyes will show you what you need to capture, your heart will eventually take that click.

    What's next?

I am finally starting my own Fashion Photography Academy.
