Fashion and Bollywood make for one of the most classic love stories ever. When the artistry of designers come together with the glamour of Bollywood stars, it weaves the magic that no one is immune to.

It is for the same reason that designers often get Bollywood stars to be the showstoppers of their ramp shows. While this is totally something we have got used to and even look forward, here are a few moments of Bollywood celebrities that no one saw coming.

Siddharth Malhotra's Dog Story

Nothing in the world could have prepared us for this surprise! While Rohit Bal’s fashion show was going on and Siddharth Malhotra and Diana Penty were all set to be the showstoppers, a stray dog decided to grace the event with its presence. The amazement and shock on all the models can be seen clearly in the picture. The dog struts its stuff on the ramp for a few minutes before an organizer shooed it away.

Ranveer Surprise

Much like weather and Bollywood box-office, there is no telling what Ranveer Singh is going to do next. For Raghavendra Rathore’s LFW show, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor were literally setting the stage on fire when Ranveer decided to join them totally impromptu and unannounced. What happened next was a total treat to the eyes with Anil and Ranveer breaking into an impromptu performance, but we could only enjoy it after we got over the shock of Ranveer jumping on the stage out of the blue.

Sanya and Plastic Bottles

This year, designer’s Narendra Kumar’s show was all about sustainable fashion. The clothes for which actress Sanya Malhotra turned a showstopper were made out of recycled plastic bottles. While the attempt and idea must be really appreciated and applauded, we are not sure we were ready for it when Sanya started picking up all the plastic bottles on the stage and putting them in a trash bag.

The Twinkle Khanna Obscenity Row

In 2009, Lakme Fashion Week became the sight of one of the biggest controversies of that year. Akshay Kumar turned show stopper for  Tarun Tahilliani’s collaboration with Levi’s where they were showcasing their new unbuttoned denim. During the walk, Akshay stopped in front of Twinkle Khanna who was sitting in the first row and encouraged her to open the button of his denim. What followed was a police complaint where Twinkle was booked under the clause of public obscenity.
