Gadar: Ek Prem Katha Is Getting A Sequel And We Might Just Uproot A Hand Pump In Excitement

For kids who were too small or not even born when Gadar released in 2001, it would be difficult to explain the madness around the film. The film went down in the history of Indian Cinema for registering the third highest footfalls ever and the dialogues and scenes from the movie are still used by Bollywood aficionados.

Well, if reports are to be believed then all that madness might come back once again. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha might actually get a sequel. A source close to the makers told a leading news agency, “We have been working on 'Gadar' sequel since 15 years. 'Gadar' will be story of Tara (Sunny Deol), Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) and Jeet (their son, played by Utkarsh Sharma). The story will move ahead with India-Pakistan angle, 'Gadar' is incomplete without it. The cast will remain same, like how we have seen in films like 'Baahubali', 'Rambo, 'Fast and Furious', etc. We have discussed the idea with Sunny. We can't disclose anything at the moment,"

The makers have actually decided to stick to the old cast and we cannot even imagine what it would be like to witness the saga of Tara Singh and Sakeena unfold in front of our eyes once again. Interestingly enough, Sunny Deol has also started work to come up with a sequel of Apne.
