Gauahar Khan & Zaid Darbar Begin Wedding Festivities By Twinning In Yellow For Their Traditional Chiksa Ceremony

Since the last few days, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar have been winning hearts with their adorable social media posts, as they count down the days to their wedding. After their pre-wedding photos, the couple shared a romantic clip from the day of the photoshoot. Then came the cute animated video which gave their fans and followers a glimpse of their lock down love story. Well, the love birds have finally kicked off their wedding festivities and also took to their official handles to share a few sneak peeks.

Day 1 of the #GaZa celebration was all about the traditional Chiksa ceremony. Zaid and Gauahar looked perfect together in their matching bright yellow outfits. Along with the post, they wrote: “When half of me met half of you and together the better halves shaped our beautiful moments. #Alhamdulillah.” They were joined by their family members and loved ones in Mumbai. The Chiksa ceremony is something similar to the haldi ceremony which is performed to ward off ‘buri nazar’ (evil eye).

Zaid and Gauahar will tie the knot on Christmas, that is, 25^th December. We are super excited for them and are glad that they have decided to share sneak peeks of their special moments from the wedding festivities with fans on social media. We wish the love birds all the happiness in the world!
