Gauri Khan Excited About Shah Rukh Khan's Break From Bollywood Films, Assures 'He Will Be Up And About Very Shortly'

Shah Rukh Khan has taken time off Bollywood and has been devoting this break to spend time with his family and investing himself in thinking deeply about the kind of work he wants to do in the future. This decision came after his last release Zero failed to work at the box office. Shah Rukh who had signed Saare Jahan Se Acha (Rakesh Sharma biopic) backed out from project and his fans since have been waiting eagerly for him to announce his next film. Amidst all of this, the actor’s wife Gauri Khan is really excited about him taking this much-needed break.

In a recent interview with Zoom Gauri Khan spoke about Shah Rukh Khan’s break and what he’s been spending time doing. The star designer said, “It was required. More than anything else, it’s high time he took his break. I am happy I can travel while he’s at home and he takes good care of AbRam. So, I am super excited. If I am not there for the little one then he’s there, it suits me. I think he will be up and about very very shortly.”

Well, that last bit is some respite for the fans who have been deceived several times in this duration by the constant rumours of Shah Rukh’s name being linked with one project after another. So far the actor has been associated with films like Don 3, Satte Pe Satta remake, Main Hoon Na 2 but he has clearly refused being associated with any of these projects. Ruling out the rumours Shah Rukh wrote on Twitter, “It’s always nice to know that in my absence & behind my back , I have surreptitiously signed so many films that even I am not aware of!! Boys & girls I do a film when I say I am doing it....otherwise it’s just post truth.”

It looks like we’ll have to patiently wait for Shah Rukh himself to make an announcement and we hope it’s soon.
