Gul Panag Reveals How Her Pilot Husband Has Been Flying To Bring People Home As An Essential Service During Coronavirus Scare

The coronavirus crisis is no doubt a testing time for those spending time indoors but is also an incredibly risky phase for those citizens who go out every day to ensure essential services remain operational. So while Bollywood stars are urging followers to strictly abide by government set regulations and support the 21 days lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, actress Gul Panag tweeted revealing how her husband has been flying even during this crisis to bring people to safety.

To her tweet on the lockdown that read, “No other way! Had to be done.” A user tried to troll her saying it is an ‘Adventure for privileged like you’, the actress shut him down saying that while he sits and tweets her husband and pilot Rishi Attari is flying to get people home, exposing himself to crowded spaces with no option to work from home.

Gul replied, “Reallly? You're on Twitter. My husband's flying a plane bringing people back home as I type. Every day for last few days, infact. Exposed to crowded places with no WFH option. Because 'essential' service. Till tonight.”

When another user asked the actress and her family to be safe, she revealed that they are trying their best to isolate him for a few days.

The nation is showering praises on servicemen who are keeping the essential services running in the country and their families, the last thing we need is people mocking the situation and pointing fingers over privilege.
