Choked – Netflix – June 5

Anurag Kashyap’s feature film debut on Netflix after a successful series like Sacred Games and short films like Ghost Stories and Lust Stories, Choked stars Saiyami Kher and Rohan Matthew. The film follows the tale of a bank cashier who finds cash flowing through her kitchen sink. The story has the backdrop of 2016’s demonetization.

Gulabo Sitabo – Amazon Prime Video – June 12

Shoojit Sircar returns with a comedy featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana. Bachchan plays an aging landlord of a haveli in Lucknow while Ayushmann Khurrana is a tenant who consistently fails at paying rent. Their constant clashes form the crux of the story which puts the haveli land dispute.

Rasbhari – Amazon Prime Video – June 19

Starring Swara Bhasker and Ayushmann Saxena and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, Rasbhari is the story of a young boy who falls for his teacher only to discover she has a an alter ego. The story is set in Meerut. Swara plays the teacher and Rasbhari is the name of her alter ego.

Penguin – Amazon Prime Video – June 19

The thriller releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam Penguin will see Keerthy Suresh as a pregnant woman. The makers haven’t divulged a lot about the project retaining the mystery around it.

Law – Amazon Prime Video – June 26

Directed by Smile Please maker Raghu Samarth Law is a Kannada thriller marking the debut of actress Ragini Chandran. The film is a woman-centric thriller revolving around a law student.

Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai S3 - ALT Balaji/ Zee 5 – June 6

The third season of the popular Balaji web show based on a love triangle featuring Ronit Roy, Mona Singh, and Gurdeep Kohli gets more messed up in the new season. Ronit’s character Rohit has been left by Mona Singh who plays Ananya. Rohit becomes bitter while the two women move on in their lives in the new season.

Chintu Ka Birthday – Zee 5 – June 5

The critically acclaimed film focuses on a six-year-old boy whose family is stuck in Iraq at the time of Saddam Hussein's fall. Chintu’s family tries to arrange for their son to celebrate his birthday in such trying times. The film has been produced by AIB.
