Hansal Mehta's Father Passes Away, Scam 1992 Director Pens A Heartfelt Note

National Award winning director Hansal Mehta has suffered a big personal loss. The director, who recently helmed the SonyLiv web-series Scam 1992, lost his father. He took to his social media to share the news.

Taking to his social media, Hansal Mehta shared a picture with his father. Captioning it, he wrote, "I always thought he would outlive me. I was wrong. See you on the other side Pappa. The most handsome man in the world. And the most gentle and generous human being that I’ve ever met. Thank you Pappa for your unconditional love. Thank you my legend, my hero." Here is the post:

This is indeed an irreplaceable loss for him. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace and may Hansal and his entire family get the strength to deal with the loss. The exact reason for his death has not been known yet. Hansal Mehta and his entire family had contracted COVID weeks back and the director was especially anxious about his son Pallava's health who was critical. He had opened up about how his wife and daughters were symptomatic and the rest of the family had also tested positive just a few days later. He had also shared an update on everyone's health and revealed that everyone was on the road to recovery.
