Has Vicky Kaushal Replaced Akshay Kumar In LOL: Land Of Lungi?

There can be little doubt about the fact that Vicky Kaushal is currently the blue-eyed boy of Bollywood. From critical acclaim to love of the audience and of course, the female attention, Vicky literally has it all right now and if reports are to believed then he also has a film for which Akshay Kumar was initially cast.

Reportedly, Vicky has replaced Akshay Kumarin LOL: Land Of Lungi which is going be a masala comedy entertainer through and through. Sajid Nadiadwala would be producing the film, but the director and the female lead are yet to be decided. A source close to the film revealed, “Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala have discussed the film and they were keen on doing it together. But now, Akshay won't be a part of the project anymore. He has already allotted his dates to a few other projects like Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb and The End. So, Akshay suggested his good friend Sajid to go ahead and make LOL with someone else.” The report further stated that Vicky had earlier met the producer and expressed his interest after a he got a narration and now has been roped in after Akshay’s exit.

Talking about other upcoming releases of Vicky Kaushal, he will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Udham Singh Biopic, Karan Johar’s Takht and the untitled horror film that would be produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh.
