Hina Khan Reveals She Turned Down Naagin 4, Wasn't Keen On Doing The Three Episodes Of Naagin 5 As Well

After a rather short lived season 4, Ekta Kapoor’s fantasy drama Naagin returns with a fresh season and actress Hina Khan who launched the show starring in the first few episodes got the show the much needed attention. The fans of the actress are however disappointed that Hina is not the star of Naagin 5.

The actress who played the Sarv Shreshth Naagin in the first few episodes of the series says she was also skeptical about doing the three episodes. The markers have been getting some flak for bringing in Surbhi Chandna as the lead of Naagin 5 instead of retaining Hina and the actress has now in a chat with ETimes clarified that she has no intention of continuing work on TV.

Explaining her decision she told ETimes, "I had made it pretty clear months ago that I don't want to do television for a while. I still stick to it. Ideally, I didn't want to do the three episodic thing. I wasn't sure whether I should do it as I am exploring a different space. I really can't say no to Ekta and I really really respect her a lot."

She also added that Ekta had also offered her Naagin 4 but she was not keen on doing it. The actress now requests fans to not slam the makers of the new cast saying that it was always planned in the manner and it was her decision. She says, "Please don't blame anyone. It was my decision. I couldn't inform you all beforehand due to embargo. I launched the show and I am done with it." 

The new season starring Surbhi Chandana, Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra has already kicked off on Colors.
