HTLS 2019: Kareena Kapoor Reveals Akshay Kumar Was The First Friend To Know She Was In Love With Saif, The Actor Has Hilarious Response

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor are reuniting on the silver screen after a decade with Good Newwz and speaking the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2019 the two stars took a trip down the memory lane thinking back to their last film together, Tashan.

Tashan may have been a box office flop but for Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan the film was the start of their relationship and therefore is special to them for a whole lot of reasons. Talking about their on-screen reunion Akshay spoke about Tashan and nudged Kareena saying ‘that’s where it all started’, the actress then revealed that the Housefull actor was indeed the first friend to know that she was in love with Saif Ali Khan even before she shared the news with anyone. A very playful Akshay even joked ‘that’s because my room was right next to Saif’.

Speaking about working with Akshay after a decade Kareena said that it is like ‘coming home’ and added that it’s ‘absolute comfort’ whenever she is doing a film with him.

Talking about their upcoming film Good Newwz Akshay also said that when he heard the story of the film he thought it was really interesting. “I’ve done about 140 films in my career, #GoodNewwz is one of my best films,” he added.
