Inshallah Details: Alia Bhatt To Play An Actress And Salman Khan Will Play A Businessman In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Film

Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan are all set to team up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah and if that news isn’t exciting enough then you’ll be thrilled to know the new details about the film. Alia Bhatt has already done Dear Zindagi with Shah Rukh Khan where he played her therapist and we are all curious what equation Alia Bhatt will share with Salman in this one. But while we wait for the answer, the details of their characters in Inshallah have us really confused. 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has already made it clear that their age gap will be justified through the story of the film. While there are reports out there that Alia and Slaman might play siblings, the new details have left us totally confused.  According to a source in Mumbai Mirror, “Salman is a businessman in his mid-40s. The character is reminiscent of his turn in his 1997 romcom Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai. Alia plays a 20-something aspiring actress. All the factors, including age gap, have been taken into consideration. The story will justify the teaming up of two actors, from different generations, on a romantic journey.”

In India, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Varanasi are some of the locations the makers might film at, while the rest of the shoot might take place in the U.S. Inshallah is Alia Bhatt’s first film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, while it is Salman Khan’s third after Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. While the release of the film is still far away, the fans are already excited.
