    It’s been a month since Irrfan Khan’s death and millions of his fans are still reeling with the loss. The actor par excellence lost his battle to neuroendocrine cancer after two years and now a month after his death his friend and neighbor from Jaipur revealed a few things about the actor that might come to you as a surprise.

    In a chat with Pinkvilla, Ziaullah remembered his late friend and revealed that the actor had in his most vulnerable times before his death donated to funds for covid-19 relief. The actor was determined to keep his generosity a secret and had warned to around him from talking about. He told the portal “With the coronavirus situation we were creating funds to help people. When we spoke to his brother, he was ready to help and even Irrfan helped us with funds for poor people. His only clause was nobody should know that he has helped. As a family, they believe that the right hand shouldn’t know what the left hand has given. For him, it was more important that people feel relieved.”


    Irrfan’s friend also spoke about how the actor was really close to his mother and always rushed home whenever she needed him. The actor unfortunately couldn’t be there for her funeral as she died just four days before him. “He was very attached to his mother. He would rush home whenever he was informed of his ammi (mother’s) health. He would visit if it is for a short period, but his arrival to meet his mother was indubitable,” Ziaullah added.
