Jackky Bhagnani And 8 Others Booked On Charges Of Molestation And Sexual Abuse Based On A Complaint Filed By A Model

In another Me Too case in the entertainment industry, a former model based in Mumbai has filed a complaint against 9 high-profile personalities with allegations of rape and molestation against them. Among the names against whom an F.I.R has been registered is actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani.

The model turned independent songwriter has also named the founder of talent management agency KWAN Entertainment, Anirban Blah, photographer Colston Julian, and Krishan Kumar of T-Series in her complaint among others according to a report in Mid-Day.

While Jackky faces allegations of molestation photographer Colston Julian has been accused of raping the woman multiple times between 2014 and 2018 according to a report in UK’s Independent. The woman also alleged that the police took their time in registering an F.I.R. She had first approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone 10, Dr Maheshwar Reddy and from there was directed to the Andheri Police where her statement was recorded. Her case was later transferred to the Bandra police as most of the abuse she faced over the years took place in the area.

The complainant also said that she was threatened by one of the accused after her complaint was registered. The police are now investigating the matter based on evidence submitted but the woman in question still questions why the police have been delaying the arrest of the accused.

“In a bid to conduct panchmana, one woman police officer took me to the locations where these accused sexually abused me in Mumbai. It seems that Colston Julian has gone underground as his Bandra house was locked and his car was also not there when we visited. Bhagnani is somewhere in foreign land and he is expected to reach Mumbai in September,”  the woman told Mid-Day.
