Janhvi Kapoor Shares A Beautiful Photograph Of Sridevi And Boney Kapoor On Their 24th Anniversary

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor was smitten by the gorgeous Sridevi the first time he saw her on the big screen in a Tamil film. He couldn’t get her out of his mind and really wanted to work with her. In fact, he travelled all the way to her house in Chennai to meet her, but sadly the actress was away on a shoot. After she made her debut in Bollywood, Boney decided to sign her for Shekhar Kapur’s directorial Mr India, which turned out to be one of the most iconic films of Indian cinema. When the film finally went on floors, he made sure that the actress had the best of everything and left no chance to try and impress her.

Each time they met, he fell even more in love with the queen of hearts. When she flew away to Switzerland to shoot for her film Chandni, Boney ji’s love for her made him follow her. He made up excuses to be there but the real reason was the love of his life, Sridevi. Eventually the actress realized that his feelings are sincere and started falling for him. The love birds tied the nuptial knot in 1996 and a few years later their family was complete with daughters Janhvi and Khushi. Celebrating their 24^th anniversary today, Janhvi took to her social media handle to share a gorgeous unseen snap of the couple.

On 24^th February 2018, Sridevi breathed her last and left for the heavenly abode, leaving her family, friends and fans shattered. However, she continues to live on in our hearts and memories even today.
