Javed Akhtar Reacts To Rumours Of Farhan Akhtar Marrying Shibani Dandekar: I Never Ask Personal Questions To My Kids

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are going strong and steady as a couple for nearly three years now. They are often spotted together and definitely post some very romantic pictures with each other on social media and fans can’t help but wonder if they would soon be tying the knot.

Rumours of Farhan and Shibani’s wedding have gone viral in the past but it was nothing more than that. The couple never gave any wind to such speculations but that hasn’t really stopped people from posing the question. In a recent interview Farhan’s father and renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar was asked if there is wedding on the cards soon and his answer set the record straight a bit further.

While speaking with Hindustan Times, Javed Akhtar on being probed about Farhan and Shibani’s wedding rumours said, “I believe that once kids become adults, they have a right to their privacy and asking them personal questions is a no-no. If they offer personal information, you should listen but never probe or enquire or question them. It is not a decent thing. If my kids want to share about their personal lives with me, I would be most happy to listen but I never probe or ask personal questions to my kids.”

Well, that should put some racing minds to rest as if Javed Akhtar doesn’t know then the rest of us are really far from the answer.
