Jawaani Jaaneman: Alaya Feels Saif Did Not Treat Her As A Newcomer; Reveals The Best Compliment She Received

Pooja Bedi’s gorgeous daughter Alaya F made her debut in the Hindi film industry this year with Nitin Kakkar’s comedy drama Jawaani Jaaneman. Even though she shared the big screen with two of the most talented and adored superstars of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan and Tabu, the star kid managed to win hearts with her charming smile, fresh screen presence and really impressive acting skills. She was an absolute natural and proved that she is here to stay!

In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, Alaya shared how she had read almost every single review of the film the day it released and was stunned! She did not receive even a single criticism for her performance and she felt it was too good to be true. Talking about the most memorable compliment she got, the star kid shared, “That I looked cute with a pregnant belly. It was a very real-looking, heavy prosthetic belly which gave me a backache. I was excited about getting pregnant till I realised the abs I'd taken months to acquire would be covered up.”

Talking about her co-star and on-screen father Saif, Alaya shared that he was never afraid to praise her and did not treat her as a newcomer. In fact the ‘Jawaani team’ became her family and the actress feels it was the perfect first film.

We are now eagerly waiting to see Alaya shine on the big screen again.
