Jeremy Renner To Be Replaced As Hawkeye In MCU Following Drug Abuse Allegations?

Jeremy Renner seems to be having some problems in his personal life. The actor has been accused of abusing cocaine with underage girls by a former friend. In fact, his ex-wife has filed a motion for the sole custody of their daughter due to these allegations. Here have also been allegations by his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco that he tried to kill her.

Now, according to We Got This Covered, Marvel is considering to replace Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Even though a clarification has been issued by the makers, the insiders are claiming that the situation isn’t really hopeful for the actor. There are also claims that now MCU might take some more time in considering the actor and before coming up with an official confirmation.

Well, would he let go of the franchise and the character of Hawkeye himself, or would he be really replaced? We guess time would answer these questions!
