Jersey Shoot Delayed Due Shahid Kapoor’s Health Issues

Shahid Kapoor surely gave his career’s biggest hit this year with Kabir Singh and despite the controversies surrounding the film Shahid’s performance in the film was praised universally. The actor is busy these days with the shoot of yet another Hindi remake of Telugu film, Jersey, however, it looks like the audience will now have to wait a little more to see Shahid back on screen.

According to reports, the shoot of the film has been delayed owing to Shahid’s poor health. A source revealed that the doctor had ordered the actor complete bed rest. Even the producer of the film, Aman Gill confirmed the news and said, “Shahid has a very professional approach towards work and he has always given his best. However, he recently fell extremely ill, and his health is of utmost importance to us. Therefore for him to recover fully we decided to delay the film’s shoot by a week and now will start on Friday 13th December.”

Interestingly, recently there were also reports of Shahid walking out of an award show for not getting the Best Actor Award in The Popular Category and even refusing to perform at the last minute. But now, sources close to the actors are claiming that it was his health and not his temper tantrum for which he could not perform at the ceremony and even had to leave early.
