    John Abraham And Aditi Rao Hydari Would Travel Back To The 1940s For Arjun Kapoor-Rakul Preet Singh Starrer; See Pic

    It is known to us all that Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh are all set to finish the shoot of their next, which is a cross-border love story. With just a few weeks of shoot remaining, it came of a sudden halt due to the lockdown but would resume soon. John Abraham would not just be a co-producer for the film, which is yet to be titled, but would also have a cameo along with Aditi Rao Hydari. Now, their first look from the film is out!

    Talking about the roles that they would play, Aditi Rao Hydari told Mumbai Mirror, "John and I play a couple in 1946 –47 whose love story remains unfinished and unrequited till Arjun’s character feels the need to bring it to closure. Films like these are rarely made today, so I was quick to come on board.”

    Nikkhil Advani, who is producing the film alongside added more details about the characters and said, “There is a parallel between Arjun and Rakul’s characters in the present day and the forced break-up between John and Aditi’s characters in 1947 following the Partition. He plays a sardar for the first time.” John said that when he was asked to play the role by the director, he just couldn't refuse.
