Jug Jugg Jeeyo: Anil Kapoor And Kiara Advani To Resume Shooting While Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor Recover

The shooting of Jug Jugg Jeeyo came to an abrupt halt when Neetu Kapoor , Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta tested positive for novel coronavirus. While Neetu headed back home in an air ambulance, Varun and Raj decided to stay in Chandigarh under quarantine. Well recently Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni announced that her actress mother has tested negative for COVID-19. While Neetu, Varun and Raj recover, their co-stars Kiara Advani , Anil Kapoor and Prajakta Koli will resume shooting for the film.

Buzz suggests that the three, along with the rest of the cast that tested negative, have been asked to report to the set on 17th December. In a report shared by Mid Day, a source was quoted saying, “After the film hit a roadblock, it was becoming difficult to get the combination dates of actors again. So, Anil, Kiara and Prajakta Koli are likely to begin filming their portions by later this week. The team of assistant directors, under the able guidance of producer Shashank Khaitan, are eyeing to kick off the shoot by Thursday. Varun, Neetu and Raj are on the road to recovery. Once they test negative and are given the clean chit by their doctors, they will resume work.”

Varun and Kiara’s co-star Maniesh Paul had tested positive for novel coronavirus after he returned to Mumbai from Chandigarh. He, too, is on the road to recovery and will hopefully return to the set soon to shoot his remaining scenes.
