Jug Jugg Jeeyo: Varun Dhawan, Neetu Singh To Resume Shoot This Week After Testing Negative For COVID-19

Raj Mehta's upcoming film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo faced a massive roadblock when the director, along with lead actor Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and later Maniesh Paul tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The shoot stopped immediately and they were brought back to Mumbai. Later, Kiara Advani reportedly shot some parts with Anil Kapoor. Now, it looks like the team is all set to resume work in full fledge after everyone has tested negative.

All those affected have tested negative for the virus and they are set to resume work too. A unit member told Mid Day, "While we resume filming today, Varun will join us on December 19. In the past fortnight, his symptoms have subsided and his antigen tests have been negative. He will take a final test today before reporting to the set tomorrow. The same holds true for Neetu ma'am." The senior actor, who has been paired with Anil Kapoor, apparently has just four days of shoot left. They would be shooting in Chandigarh.

Since Varun has been recovering, he would be shooting with breaks in between. A source revealed, "Unlike earlier when he was shooting daily, Varun will film every two days in shorter shifts, and will continue working till the month-end." We hope that the shoot is wrapped up smoothly.
