Kajol Reveals Ajay Devgn Declined The Offer Of A Cameo Role In Tribhanga; Says ‘He Refused Us’

One of the most popular star couples of Tinsel Town, Kajol and Ajay Devgn re-united on the big screen after 9 long years in Om Raut’s masterpiece Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior last year. They came together once again for Renuka Shahane’s directorial Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy. But this time their reunion was not on-screen because Kajol was the lead star and Ajay was a co-producer. But did you know that Renuka and Kajol had offered the Singham actor a cameo in their family drama?

In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Kajol and Renuka answered questions asked by their fans. Well, one of their fans wanted to know if they thought about having a cameo from Ajay Devgn in Tribhanga. To this, the star wife replied, “We did, we did, how did they know? We did think about it. I asked Ajay (Devgn) also, I said, 'Please, at least, give a passing shot at the end, but he refused, he's very bad (jokingly), very boring he is. We thought about it, we even spoke about it, I said, 'It'd be so cool if he comes and give a shot or something, let's call him for one shot, but he told, 'No,' he refused us (again, in jest).”

Also starring Tanvi Azmi, Mithila Palkar, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Tribhanga released on Netflix this month. The story follows the life of a dysfunctional family of three women and their unconventional life choices. While Kajol has played the role of an Odissi dancer and actress in the film, Tanvi has portrayed her on-screen writer mother whereas Mithila played the role of her daughter.
