    Kangana Ranaut's First Look As Jayalalitha In Thalaivi Out, The Actress Looks Unrecognizable

    Kangana Ranaut is taking up the challenging role of bringing to life the story of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. After Manikarnika: The Queen of Janshi, the actress has been prepping day and night for the role and the first look of the actress in and as Thalaivi is finally out.

    The actress looks barely recognizable is a lot of prosthetics done to get the look right and we are blown away. Titled Thalaivi the film will explore the life of the late politician from her acting days to getting into the tougher space of politics.


    Kangana has been learning Tamil as well as learning Bharatnatyam for the part and had frequently shared updates about her training. Talking about her struggles with learning a new language for the part she earlier told IANS in an interview, "I am finding it difficult to learn Tamil. This film will be released in Hindi and Tamil, so we will do something about it. Obviously, I have to mug up those dialogues because Tamil is not an easy language. Earlier, I was trying to learn the complete Tamil language because I have learned English as well, but now I am learning Tamil as per the demand of film's script." 

    The film was also recently in news for actor Junior NTR having rejected the role of Kangana’s father in the film.

    Thalaivi is all set to release in theatres on 26 June 2020.
