R Balki’s recent statement on the nepotism debate had taken social media by storm. He had shared that star kids do have a bigger advantage in the film industry but there are pros and cons to the same. However, the filmmaker had gone on to add, “But I’d ask one simple question: Find me a better actor than Alia (Bhatt) or Ranbir (Kapoor), and we’ll argue. It’s unfair on these few people who’re probably some of the finest actors.” Well Kangana Ranaut decided to hit back at Balki today for the very controversial statement.

For the uninitiated, the trailer of Alia Bhatt ’s next film Sadak 2 was shared yesterday and netizens decided to make it the most disliked video on the internet. Sharing the post of one such user who did not particularly enjoy the trailer or Alia’s performance, Kangana wrote: “Somebody need to find R Balki he is hiding, he said there are no better actors than Ranbir and Alia. sharm karlo, thodi sharm karlo, brainwashing ki bhi limit hoti hai, both pappus are below average glorified by mafia media, their friends and fake awards, their time is up.”

Also starring Sanjay Dutt , Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt , Sadak 2 marks Alia’s father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt ’s return as a director after 20 years. The film is a sequel to Sanjay and Pooja’s 1991 film Sadak, which was adored by the audiences. We wonder if Sadak 2 will have the same fate. What are your thoughts?
