Kanika Kapoor Has Been Discharged From The Hospital After Testing Negative For The Second Time

Kanika Kapoor tested positive for Coronavirus on 20^th March and now after she was tested negative, she has been discharged from the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow after she tested negative for COVID-19 infection consecutively for the second time this week. Her earlier five reports showed her as coronavirus positive.

In an Instagram statement which Kapoor later deleted, Kanika had revealed how she developed signs of flu on her return from London. She went on to claim, she became aware of the Corona infection only after she tested positive with the virus.

But now that the singer has been discharged from the hospital, her ordeals will only increase. Well, numerous FIRs have been filed against the singer. In the hospital through a video, she wished to be able to be with her children and see them but now, with the FIRs filed on her on charges of negligence for attending various social events in Lucknow despite being infected with coronavirus and having been instructed by the authorities to isolate herself at her home, she has been booked under Sections 188, 269, and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar police station in the city.

A Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow had filed the FIRs against her. She was the first Bollywood personality to have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
