Kapil Sharma Responds To Rumours Of Resuming The Kapil Sharma Show Amidst Lockdown

The country is reeling under the lockdown that has been imposed due to the grave situation presented to the citizens of the country due to the coronavirus. And according to the latest reports, another two weeks might be added on the ongoing 21-day lockdown.

While all TV shows remain suspended under these circumstances, there was a rumor that The Kapil Sharma Show will once again return to Sony Entertainment Television but with some changes in the format.

According to a news portal, it was reported the producers intend to soon revive the show without a live audience. Well, that move will surely uplift the TRPS of the channel for sure.

However, according to an India Forums report, Kapil Sharma has negated the news. The comedian has been quoted as saying, "I don't have any information about this. I also read in some news."

The old shows are now making a return on television and the TRPs of the show have sky-rocketed too.

Many popular shows like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Khichdi, Hum Panch and many popular shows have started airing on TV again.

All the GEC Channels are making sure that the TRPs for their channels do not dip and therefore they are walking the extra mile to do whatever is in their capacity to make sure of just that but as far as the Kapil Sharma Show is concerned the fans will have to wait longer to see it back on TV.
