Karan Johar To Ring In His 49th Birthday At Alibaug With Shah Rukh, Ranbir, Deepika And Anushka Amongst Others?

Just like us, many Bollywood celebrities also miss the good old times when hanging out with a few friends or chilling at social events was considered ‘normal’. Well, recent buzz suggested that we may witness a star studded Bollywood gathering which would reportedly be hosted by the one and only Karan Johar!

Rumors suggested that the filmmaker, who turns 49 on 25^th May this year, may ring in his birthday at Alibaug with some of his dearest friends from the industry. The celebration was said to be divided into three days from 24^th to 26th May to avoid overcrowding and the invites were reportedly sent out. The guest list included big names from Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and husband Virat Kohli, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and the Bachchans amongst many others.

However, the latest report shared by Peeping Moon has clarified that these rumors are false. A source close to KJo was quoted saying, "In this Covid climate who would think of celebrating their birthday and who would go for such a party! Karan is respecting the grim sentiment of the country and will not be even talking of his birthday. The news is mischievous and misleading at a time like this."
