Karan Johar To Take Legal Action Against Trolls Abusing His Kids, Sending Rape Threats Against His Mother: Reports

Filmmaker Karan Johar might be abstaining from social media after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death but that hasn’t stopped enraged netizens from trolling the filmmaker for allegedly promoting nepotism and favoritism in the industry. It now seems the filmmaker is ready to take action against social media trolls after his kids and other were allegedly threatened.

According to a recent DNA report the filmmaker has hired a team of lawyers to and tech experts to pick out the social media profiles that he has been getting threats from and then initiate legal action.

 A source informs the portal, “Karan is actively pursuing legal action. A team of lawyers, as well as online tech experts, have come together to see this through. The tech people in the team are tracking the social media handles that are trying to intimidate him through violence. They want to unearth these accounts, fake and real and submit the evidence to the relevant authorities. The comments got out of hand when people started to threaten physical harm and abuse to his children and gave rape threats against his mother." 

Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty and Shaheen Bhatt have been a few celebs who have exposed trolls on social media in the past few days. Rhea Chakraborty also lodged a police complaint against two users on Instagram.
