    Kartik Aaryan Decides To Take A Fee Hike, To Charge Rs. 7 Crores For Future Projects In Bollywood

    After years of just being the Punchanama boy in Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan has now emerged as of the leading actor in Bollywood’s younger generation. The actor has sure become a major crowd puller and after his 2018 mega hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety he has bagged some big projects in Bollywood. The actor however is cautiously making his next moves and wants to offer his fans wholesome entertainment with his movies.

    Relishing his success in the industry the actor now seems to have decided to take a much deserved pay hike. According to a recent report by Bollywood Hungama a source says, “Going forward, Kartik Aaryan has decided to increase his fees to Rs. 7 crore. In the last 1 ½ years, his brand value has gone up by many notches. He has reached a stage wherein audiences will come to the theatres because of his presence in a film. Hence, it’s only natural that he decided that he deserves better pay. As a result, after discussing with his team, he has decided to charge Rs. 7 crore for his films from now on. He is sure that filmmakers won’t have issues paying him the said amount since they know that his presence adds a lot to a movie.”


    Talking about his film choices in a recent interview with IANS Kartik had revealed that he was offered Rs. 10 crores for a film after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety but he passed on the project. Citing the reason for refusing the film Kartik said, "I refused that film because I didn't like subject. I think if I would have been part of it then it wouldn't have been a big hit. I never have regrets with my choices, be it films I did or the ones I refused." 

    As far as his upcoming projects go, the actor has Mudassar Aziz's Pati, Patni Aur Who releasing in December, after which he will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal, Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Tarun Mansukhani’s Dostana 2.
