Kartik Aaryan Hikes Fee Again? Actor Is Reportedly Charging More Than Rs. 10 Crores For Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Remake

Kartik Aaryan is a rising star in Bollywood with many exciting upcoming projects in his kitty. The actor who is currently entertaining fans from home is reported to have bagged the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Telugu hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and will be charging more than Rs. 10 crores for the film according to a Mumbai Mirror report.

The actor has been in the news in the past for hiking his fee his breakthrough performance in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and was reportedly charging Rs. 7 crores per project and no doubt is being chased for several films after the success of the 2018 entertainer. In a previous interview the actor had revealed that he was offered Rs. 10 crores for a project after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which he rejected since he never thought the film will work however Kartik has admitted he wants to do Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake.

The Love Aaj Kal actor has a back to back projects lined up as soon as work resumes with Bhool Bhulaiya 2 ready to resume shoot again soon. He will also be seen in Dostana 2 and has already signed an action film with Tanhaji director Om Raut.

Speaking about the film previously in an interview with Anupama Chopra Kartik had said, “That is one film which I saw on Netflix also. It’s a lot of fun. I can’t see anyone else doing that part, it’s an enjoyable film. But I don’t know whether I’m doing the film or not (laughs). Because abhi aisa kuchh mujhe pata nahi hai ki Hindi remake ho raha hai. Maine bas padha hai, mera naam aaya hai ki I might be doing the film and the makers have approached me. In fact, main toh iss project ko hunt kar raha hun. Jab se maine yeh film dekhi hai I really feel that I fit the bill.”

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will be directed by Varun Dhawan’s brother Rohit Dhawan and will be produced by Ekta Kapoor.
