Kartik Aaryan Will Not Resume Shooting For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dostana 2 Till The COVID-19 Situation Improves

Life came to a standstill back in March when Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a nationwide lockdown in order to help stop the spread of coronavirus. A few months ago, the country slowly but steadily began unlocking and many actors resumed shooting for their upcoming projects. Many celebrities such as Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor flew out of the country, while Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had shoots at their house. However, Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan has decided that he will not resume work till the COVID-19 curve flattens.

The actor has been extremely active on social media and even began his own talk show called Koki Poochega. However, he hasn’t stepped out of his building complex as he is avoiding any risks. In a report shared by Mumbai Mirror, a source revealed, “In the last six months, Kartik has stepped out of home just once, that too in his building compound and has even been advising friends and family not to venture out. He was sure there would be a surge in cases after the unlocking and the daily numbers have only confirmed his fears.”

Kartik understands that being an actor he will be in a privileged position. However, he is taking the safety of others into consideration and will wait for things to get better. When he does resume work, he will travel to Lucknow and complete the shooting of his horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kiara Advani. He will then move on to the next schedule of Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya and later jump into Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake.
