Kasautii Zindagii Kay Producer Ekta Kapoor Issues Statement After Parth Samthaan Tests Positive For Covid-19

Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s Anurag Basu, Parth Samthaan has tested positive for novel coronavirus and the shoot of his show has been put on hold with immediate effect. The TV actor in a post confirmed the news and also suggested those he has come in contact with for the past few days to get themselves tested.

Just a few days ago Parth has resumed shoot for Kasautii after a three month gap due to the lockdown. Even though all government directives were being followed on set Parth got himself tested after experiencing mild symptoms and tested positive. Since he has been stepping out for the past few days concerns have been raised about the people around him on sets.

Ekta Kapoor the producer of Kasautii Zindagii Kay has now issued a statement saying that the health and safety of the cast and crew is the top most priority at the month after the show was halted.  She tweeted, “All necessary precautions being taken, SOPs being followed. Health & safety comes first to us all at Balaji.”

The statement reads, “We would like to inform various stakeholders that one of our talent from the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now receiving medical attention. Our first priority is to help protect our talent, crew and employees. We are taking all the precautions detailed in the guideline. We were and will continue following all medical protocols set by the authorities and have implemented guidelines concerning social interactions, hygiene, travel, and visit to the sets.”
