Katrina Kaif Was Not On Talking Terms With Salman Khan While Filming Bharat For This Reason

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are all set to reunite on screen for Bharat and we can already see them light up the screen together with their trademark chemistry in the trailer of the film. Katrina recently opened up about the film and her character Kumud Raina to Mumbai Mirror and made a startling revelation about working with Salman on this project. For the excited fans it might come as a bit of shocker that both Salman and Katrina were not on talking terms while they were filming Bharat.

While you take that in and wonder what went wrong, let us tell you that all is well between the former couple. Katrina revealed, "Yes, Salman and I share great chemistry, but when I walked onto this set, I was very clear that the script demanded a different kind of dynamics between us and I had to maintain it."

So there you have it, the actors strictly adhered to the script and tried to maintain a distance even when they were not filming. Even though Katrina and Salman are great friends they remained in their character to make their chemistry look more natural on screen. "So, I would not have lunch or hang out with him. It's different with an action film like Tiger where you can chat and chill. But here, I wanted Bharat and Kumud to appear like two people meeting for the first time and forging a connection. I hope you see that in the film," the actress added.

Bharat releases in theatres on Eid, 5 June 2019. The film is the Bollywood adaptation of the Korean film ‘An Ode To My father’.
