Katrina Kaif Tests Positive For Covid-19 Ahead Of Tiger 3 Shoot, Will Remain In Home Quarantine

Covid cases in Bollywood are piling on each day as actors step out for shoots and come in constant contact with dozens of people on a regular basis. After Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar yesterday, Katrina Kaif has today shared her Covid-19 reports came back positive.

Taking to her Instagram stories Katrina informed fans that she is under home quarantine. “I have tested positive for Covid-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I'm following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care,” she wrote.

The actress has been training hard to begin shoot for her action entertainer Tiger 3opposite Salman Khan. The shoot the film was expected to begin soon but looks like the makers will have to wait till Katrina recovers to finally take the project on floors.

With the second wave of Covid-19 going strong in Maharashtra the government has taken strict measures to curb the rise of cases and imposed a night curfew along with other extraordinary measures. Despite all precautions and protocols, in the last few weeks several actors including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Govinda, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and several others have tested positive for the virus. While some of them have recovered Akshay Kumar got himself admitted in a hospital while others remain in home quarantine.
