Khandaani Shafakhana Director Shilpi Dasgupta Expresses Shock At Actor Sandeep Nahar's Demise, Calls Him 'Talented & Devoted'

Sandeep Nahar passes away yesterday. The actor, who has worked in several films like Kesari, M.S. Dhoni, Khandaani Shafakhana amongst others died by suicide hours after posting a video and a suicide note on social media. Now, his director in Khandaani Shafakhana, Shilpi Dasgupta has expressed her shock over the news.

Shilpi was aghast to hear the news. She revealed, "Sandeep was very active on Facebook. Whenever there was a good role or function, he would always message. Whenever there was an opportunity to greet, he would do that. Sandeep was a fantastic gentleman, always very eager to help. He was also a very talented and devoted actor."

It is really sad to see another young life come to an end like this. Sandeep had also worked with Akshay Kumar in Kesari and with Sushant Singh Rajput in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The actor had posted a note on social media claiming biases in the film industry. He also opened up with problems in his family and constant fights with his wife, but added that she should not be blamed for his death. He was found unconscious by his wife Kalpana and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. Rest in peace, Sandeep Nahar.
