Khuda Haafiz's Jaan Ban Gaye Song Perfectly Captures The Thrill And Passion Of First Love

The first song from Khuda Haafiz is out. Called Jaan Ban Gaye, this one is a soothing romantic number that captures all the stages of first love! What's even better- this one is an original number and not a remix, which has kind-of become a rare case scenario.

Jaan Ban Gaye traces the journey of Sameer, played by Vidyut Jammwal and Nargis, played by Shivaleeka Oberoi and how they fall in love! The two meet up in an arranged marriage meeting and soon fall in love! For this song, Vidyut transforms into an out-and-out romantic hero instead of an action hero. With dreamy eyes and a 'badla-badla chaal', he not just meets his ladylove but also bridges the gap between the two, one step at a time. Shivaleeka's Nargis plays the blushing bride-to-be, who is bold when she has to be.

The best part about the song, according to me is the portrayal of an interfaith marriage via the arranged marriage. While Bollywood has shown interfaith love-stories, the fact that the two meet in an arranged marriage set-up is what adds the novelty here. The song beautifully shows the two marry following the traditions of both.
