Kiara Advani reveals why she wants to play Madhubala in a biopic; opens up about marriage plans

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani began her journey in Bollywood in 2014 with the comedy Fugly. Over the years, not only did she win the audience over with her gorgeous smile and performances, but also proved her versatility by taking up different roles. May it be Kabir Singh’s Preeti, Guilty’s Nanki, Monika of Good Newwz or Dimple Cheema from Shershaah, she lived each character on-screen with all of her heart.

Well, in a recent chat with ETimes, when Kiara was asked if she ever wants to be a part of an actress’ biopic, she replied, “I have always wanted to play Madhubala. I want to know more about her. I’ve felt intrigued by her story and I know she was a wonderful and beautiful actress. I would love to play her in a film. I hope some director is listening (laughs).” Can you imagine Kiara as Madhubala on-screen?

But that’s not all. Kiara also opened up about her marriage plans! While talking about how she deals with speculations about her private life, and rumors or questions about her wedding plans, she stated that she doesn’t react to it. She went on to add, “But I do wonder, why people want me to get married? Why so soon? I am still young. I will get married when I want to get married. I think marriage is this annoying obsession that people have. When someone throws up the marriage question, I think everyone gets annoyed. But I guess the best policy is not to react.”

Currently the actress is busy with her much-awaited films, which include Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Jug Jugg Jeeyo and Mr Lele.
