Kirti Kulhari On Four More Shots Please Season 2: You Can Expect Another Level Of Being Unapologetically Flawed

After winning hearts with the 2019 web series Four More Shots Please, Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari and Maanvi Gagroo are all set to wow us once again and make the lockdown a little more bearable with season 2. The show follows the story of four ‘unapologetically flawed women’ and how they empower one another through the thick and thins of life. The trailer was released a while ago and it received a big thumbs up from fans.

In a recent chat with Indian Express, Kirti Kulhari opened up about the success of season 1 and shared, “I didn’t expect such a huge response. But I knew all along, that it’s a show that is going to resonate with a lot of people. It just felt like people were waiting to watch something to feel liberated and inspired. It’s not limited to a certain class or a certain kind of people. The success of the first season goes to tell you that we might have shown these four girls who are from certain strata of society or have a certain lifestyle, but the underlying things, like complications in their love life or their career, connected with everyone.”

When asked what viewers can expect from the much-awaited second season, the beauty revealed, “You can expect another level of being unapologetically flawed. Now, the girls are pushing the boundaries. There is much more drama, and different issues will crop up in their life. While some of them are not entirely different from what you saw in the first season, some will take off from the first season. Also, while the first season created a base for you to understand and get into the world of these four girls, now you will see more depth and much more happening in their lives. It’s more human.”

She also opened up about comparisons between Four More Shots Please and American romantic comedy-drama series Sex and the City. She shared, “Comparisons are unavoidable. We were aware that comparisons are going to be there. Sex and the City is not a far off thing and we are not even saying don’t compare it. It is human nature to try to find some kind of relation to something that happened in the past. We are not trying to fight those comparisons. If anything, we would be glad if we can leave an impact similar to Sex and the City.”

The second season of Four More Shots Please will release on 17th April on Amazon Prime. Are you excited?
