Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai welcome a baby boy; Share first family picture from hospital

Actors Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai welcomed their firstborn on Friday. Kishwer gave birth to a baby boy and later the couple shared a happy family picture announcing their son’s arrival on social media.

In the post from the hospital, Suyyash can be seen kissing their son’s head warmly while the little one sleeps in his mother Kishwer’s arms. “27.08.21 ❤️ welcome BABY RAI!!! It's a boy?? #sukishkababy”

The couple has not shared any name yet for their baby boy. Congratulatory comments poured in from their friends in the fraternity and fans wishing the couple and for the family’s good health.

Suyyash and Kishwer announced their pregnancy in March this year and revealed that it was an unexpected surprise. Talking to Pinkvilla at the time, Kishwer had said, "We got to know about our pregnancy on the 17th of January and by then I was already two-months pregnant but I just didn't realize it all. It was when I started feeling tired and low that it struck me that probably pregnancy could be the reason behind my lethargy. I got Suyyash to get the home pregnancy testing kits and that's when we got to know that I was expecting. It came as a shocker for us initially as we weren't expecting it at all. We hadn't planned it. It was like a big shocker in the beginning but it gradually turned into a pleasant surprise."
