Kriti Sanon Finalized Opposite Akshay Kumar For Housefull 4 Director Farhad Samji’s Next Bachchan Pandey

Kriti Sanon is surely having the best time of her career. Not only are her films doing well, but she is also one big-ticket film after another. After the success of Housefull 4, Kriti has bagged yet another film opposite Akshay Kumar. According to a source, Kriti has been finalized for Akshay’s Bachchan Pandey which will be directed by Housefull 4 director Farhad Samji.

Talking about Kriti’s selection, the source revealed, “Farhad who worked with Kriti in HF4 liked her professional attitude towards her work and offered her the lead part in his next directorial as well. There were a few other actresses vying for the same role but Kriti topped their list. The announcement will be made soon.”

The source also gave out some interesting details about the film. The source said, “Unlike other masala films, the female lead has an important part to play in Bachchan Pandey. Kriti is also learning a particular dialect that suits the South Indian character that she's going to play in the project. Along with Akshay, she also has a few action scenes so the team needed someone who's good with action and acting equally.”

The film is scheduled to go on floor in February next year. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for Sooryavanshi and will soon start promoting Good News starring him, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh. As for Kriti, she is currently in between the shoot of Dinesh Vijan’s Mimi in Rajasthan.
